The Chinese Shar pei is an ancient breed that was almost extinct in the early 1970's. Luckily they are doing much better in North America today.
The Miniature and Toy Shar Pei are still extremely rare and unlike the full size Shar pei that grows to about 20" in height and can weigh up to 60lbs., these smaller sweethearts grow to around 15"-17" in height and 30-32lbs for Minis and 12'- 14" / 20-25lbs for Toys.
Due to their smaller size, they tend to keep more of those
adorable wrinkles. These are available from us in the meaty mouth red
fawn, apricot and black, and full blue line.
We now also have the "Standard" blueline meatymouth with heavy
wrinkles. These cutie's grow to about 19" and will weigh in at about
45lbs. They are very tubby with fat faces and wrinkles galore. These
are not high energy dogs, except as puppies and grow to be very loyal
and loving family members. Keeping their wrinkles clean is as easy as
using a nice warn damp face cloth once a day and you will probably
find that your puppy quite looks forward to this daily event. Their
coats can range from brushcoat, horsecoat or the fluffy bearcoat.
All of our puppies are raised in home in a clean loving environment. They are vet checked, health guaranteed, dewormed, first shots, micro chipped, come with pedigree papers and will have eye tacking done if they require it.

A note from Greta:
I breed Chinese Shar Pei only. They are a non sporting class breed. I carry all 3 sizes, Toy, Miniature and Standards and all 3 types of coats. Bearcoats, Brushcoats and Horsecoats. I also breed a full range of colours.
The Wrinkleranch produces around 8 litters per year breeding the girls every other heat to a maximum of 4 litters. By the time the girls are 5 years of age they are retired to "pet only" homes to live out their lives being pampered and spoiled.
Parents are always on hand to visit with people interested in the breed
All Wrinkleranch pups are in home raised in a clean loving
environment.
They are very social and affectionate and are wonderful with children and
the elderly.
They have their dewclaws removed at birth and are dewormed, vet checked multiple times, will have first shots, micro chip, are fully registered, house broke and come with a 4 year health guarantee, as well as life long support with questions or concerns.
One of the main issues with this breed is the entropia.
This is a turning in of the eyelids due to the masses of wrinkles and very
common to the breed. At six weeks of age, if the pup is showing signs of
this development, we have their eyelids :tacked" by a licensed veterinary.
This reduces the risk of further issues as the pup grows by bringing the
eyelid back to a "correct" position. Some pup will need a full surgery down
the road when they are adults depending on the mass and placement of the
facial wrinkles. Think of it as a facelift for the eyes.
